Wolfpack is a software & platform development agency located in the heart of innovation, the Technical University. We are looking for an experienced PHP developer to elevate our team to the next level.

As a Tech Lead, you're a key player in our development team and you work closely with fellow developers, the Scrum Master, and the Product Owner. Together with your team, you are responsible for building and maintaining digital solutions that help our clients grow. As a Tech Lead, you not only lead the way in technical matters, with your team relying on you for making technical decisions, but you also help your teammates perform optimally. Additionally, you’ll regularly interact with customers or visit potential clients and show them what is possible in the tech world.With your knowledge and experience, you ensure a continuous and timely delivery of quality solutions while guiding and supporting your team with development advice and technical challenges.


But wait… what does that mean, day-to-day?

  • Translation client problems to technical solutions on a daily basis;

  • Discussing the technical direction & the project delivery with your team;

  • Mentoring your colleague developers in the team and assist them with their personal growth. Off course you also help building our products;

  • Contribute to the quality of the project & facilitating the QA with your team;

  • Close collaboration with other developers, our Scrummaster and Productowner, and provide PHP-related tips & tricks;

  • Help potential customers with providing a technical solution to solve their challenges and discuss the possible architecture together with our architects, so we can provide the best result;

  • Proactively looking for customer improvements;

Job requirements

What the pack needs from you:

  • Extensive experience years of software development experience with a solid background in backend PHP development, (Mostly Laravel or Symfony);

  • You have a strong sense of responsibility, are assertive, and ensure high-quality output;

  • You are not afraid to quickly establish yourself as the go-to person for anything PHP Laravel related. You are always eager to share your insights and guide your colleagues, especially at a hands-on technical level;

  • You ask the right questions and balance expectations, so that quality is never compromised for the sake of only fulfilling requirements;

  • You readily sink your teeth in anything and you are not afraid of complex problems.

  • You have plenty of know-how when it comes to scrum, UX and working in teams;

  • You're business sensitive and pragmatic. Futhermore you can operate on a strategic level;

  • It's a plus if you have experience with data/analytics and have worked with clients and/or stakeholders;

  • You have experience working with Git and are familiar with the best practices in the Laravel community.

Currently, Wolfpack consists of 3 teams, also referred to as "packs," each with their own stack focus: Team Desert Moon (Google Cloud/Flutter), Team Solid (C#, .NET), and Team Alpha (PHP/Laravel/VUE especially Filament). Within the packs, projects are tackled from A to Z, making sure you have a complete overview instead of just focusing on a small part.
