Job description
Location: Eindhoven – Campus of Eindhoven University of Technology
Hours per week: Full-time (40 hours)
Education Level: HBO or Academic degree in Computer Science
Are you passionate about turning data into real value for people and organizations? Do you enjoy solving complex challenges and working closely with Developers, Product Owners and external Stakeholders to build smart, future-proof data solutions? Are you curious, collaborative, and always eager to learn more? If that sounds like you, join the Pack as our next Medior Data Engineer.
What you’ll do
As a Medior Data Engineer, you’ll be part of a cross-functional Scrum team (we call them "Packs") and work on impactful software products in sectors like Healthcare, Education, and Tech. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs, and design and implement solutions that deliver real business value.
You’ll work hands-on with cloud infrastructure (Azure and/or GCP), build Data Lakes and pipelines, and help clients gain insights through dashboarding and monitoring. You’ll also support junior colleagues and continue to deepen your own expertise through varied projects and experienced teammates.
Your responsibilities include:
Designing and building scalable, efficient, and reliable data platforms;
Implementing complete data infrastructures in Azure and/or GCP;
Creating and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes;
Collaborating with stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights;
Supporting dashboarding and monitoring (e.g., Looker Studio, Grafana);
Contributing to a culture of learning, sharing knowledge, and continuous improvement.
What you tell your friends you do:
“As a Data Engineer, I help clients manage and get the most out of their data. I work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to build smart pipelines, dashboards, and data infrastructure. My days are varied — I might be diving into raw data one moment, and the next I’m helping a client make sense of KPIs.
At Wolfpack, I work on meaningful projects from start to finish. That sense of ownership really motivates me. When things don’t go to plan, the team steps up, figures it out together — sometimes with a pizza in hand — and gets the job done. And yes, we do celebrate with Friday beers.”
What are we looking for
You’re a collaborative team player who’s curious, driven, and committed to writing clean, high-quality data solutions. You thrive in varied environments, enjoy tackling technical challenges, and are always eager to grow — both by learning from senior colleagues and supporting your junior teammates.
