As a Tech Lead, you're a key player in our development team and you work closely with fellow developers, the Scrum Master, and the Product Owner. Together with your team, you are responsible for building and maintaining digital solutions that help our clients grow. As a Tech Lead, you not only lead the way in technical matters, with your team relying on you for making technical decisions, but you also help your teammates perform optimally. Additionally, you’ll regularly interact with customers or visit potential clients and show them what is possible in the tech world.With your knowledge and experience, you ensure a continuous and timely delivery of quality solutions while guiding and supporting your team with development advice and technical challenges.

Your Role: You are the Alpha wolf of the Pack

As Tech Lead, you are the technical engine and the driving force behind your team. You lead a multidisciplinary team of experts where Teamwork & Trust form the foundation. You will partner with our Team Lead: while the Teamlead focusses on delivery and overall team dynamics, your focus will be entirely on content, technology, and engineering growth.

You are a technical expert who strives for elegant, future-proof architecture, but you also understand exactly when a lean MVP is the smartest path to success. Additionally, you serve as a strategic sparring partner for our clients, proactively advising them on technical possibilities and ensuring we deliver on our promises.

Together with the Product Owner, you will visit prospects and clients, comprehending their processes and architect solutions for complex challenges. Technically, you carry full ownership of your team's output, with a direct reporting line to the CTO.

What you will do day-to-day

• Architecture & Strategy: Translate complex business challenges into a crystal-clear technical blueprint. Visualize architectures using the C4 model and apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) & Clean Architecture. Design scalable foundations utilizing Onion Architecture to keep business logic at the core.

• Engineering & Execution: Work primarily with .NET, complemented by modern front-ends in Vue.js or Angular. Build cloud-native solutions, maximizing Serverless architectures and advanced patterns like CQRS and Event Sourcing. Clean Code and 12-Factor App principles are your baseline. You code along, leading by example.

• Continuity & Cloud Ops: Ensure product stability within Kubernetes clusters using a tight DevOps setup. Implement Traceability & Observability in Grafana and Sentry to know exactly how systems perform under heavy load.

• Mentorship & QA: Coach and mentor your team members to help them accelerate their professional careers. Own the overall quality of the project and facilitate Quality Assurance (QA) across the entire Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDL).

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You effortlessly navigate communication across operational, tactical, and strategic levels.

• Problem-Solving Power: You quickly cut to the heart of complex challenges, making deliberate trade-offs between speed-to-market and preventing technical debt. You look far beyond the symptoms, tackling the root cause to ensure long-term scalability and system stability.

This includes a robust QA framework with automated testing and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD). You protect code health through strict coding standards and leverage cutting-edge tooling (like GitLab Duo) for code reviews, static analysis, and shift-left security.

• Coaching & Mentorship: Proven experience guiding and developing team members, with a dedicated focus on accelerating their technical skill sets.
